ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA

The Italian company was founded in 1910 by Ermenegildo Zegna. At the age of 18 he founded the Lanificio Zegna (wool mill) and what was to become one of Italy’s best known and most dynamic family businesses. He had a dream that he would make, in his own words, ‘the most beautiful fabrics in the world’

This special collaboration featuring leather goods, luxury clothing and personal accessories designed to reflect their craftsmanship and elegance, the special Collection is characterized by a refined mixture of premium leather, fine silk and cotton fabrics with the iconic chevron pattern, leather detailing and a dedicated “Ermenegildo Zegna Exclusively for Maserati” label. In addition to precious leather outerwear in dark brown deerskin, the dark brown leather trolley whose memory foam structure protects it from impact, a leather backpack, premium leather footwear and premium driving and travel accessories, the collection includes luxury denim grey jeans, polo shirts in pure cotton jersey with a leather Maserati logo, a two-button jacket in pure cotton with leather details, and a silk herringbone scarf in brown and beige with its embroidered Maserati logo. The SS17 Zegna-Maserati Capsule Collection will then be available also at selected Ermenegildo Zegna’s worldwide boutiques and via Zegna.com starting from November 2016.

Levante

Alongside the capsule collection, Maserati will be showcasing their new SUV, Levante, arriving later this month in official Maserati dealerships across the UK. The Levante is the brand’s first luxury SUV, encompassing the design, performance and exclusivity central to all Maserati vehicles since the Italian marque’s inception in 1914. There will be two Levantes taking pride of place in the Harrods windows showcasing two different aspects to the Maserati brand, luxury and sport. The first Levante is finished in Bianco Alpi, and features the Luxury Pack with the Zegna Edition interior. The finest leather is combined with natural Zegna Mulberry Silk fibre inserts on the seats, door panels, roof lining, sunshades and ceiling light fixture. The Silk is embellished with a hand-stitched Micro Chevron.  The seats feature a central silk insert with a Macro Chevron weave. The door panels, roof lining and sun visor are covered with Zegna silk jersey. The second Levante, finished in Nero, displays the sportier side of Maserati, and features 20” machine polished wheels along with the optional gearshift paddles to enhance the driving experience.

The internationality of the Ermenegildo Zegna and Maserati brands and their shared passion for the same corporate values have come together once more to meet the increasing demand for quality, luxury and exclusivity. The on-going, multi-year partnership is based on the strong Italian heritage of the two luxury brands and was designed in part to celebrate, as a first step, Maserati’s Centennial in 2014. Over the course of their collaboration, the companies developed a limited edition collection of 100 flagship Maserati Quattroporte in 2013 made with an exclusive interior fabric from Lanificio Zegna, followed by the creation of a special edition trim package for Maserati Ghibli in 2015, which now is also available on the Quattroporte and the new Levante SUV.

Available in Ermenegildo Zegna Boutique, Ground Floor, Harrods Exhibition Windows, Brompton Road.
