With the 2018 Formula 1 season only weeks away, Scuderia Ferrari have posted a teaser of their 2018 challanger firing up. The first engine test at the Maranello base is said to have gone well, and while both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen were not present, they have been to HQ recently for their seat fitting.
Hoping for more consistency this coming season as they launch the challenge to wrestle the Championship from Mercedes AMG and Lewis Hamilton, not forgetting the threat from Red Bull.
Ferrari will complete filming laps and a shakedown test at its private tack Fiorano before travelling to Circuit de Catalunya for the two pre-season tests. Ferrari is rumoured to have booked the circuit on February 25 – the day before the opening day of testing – for additional filming laps before the season begins.
Ferrari will officially launch their 2018 challenger on Thursday, February 22.
