It’s likely to be the final incarnation of the Lamborghini Aventador, a no holds barred Performante edition, and judging by these spy shots the Italian Supercar maker is certainly not holding back on the aerodynamics.
The Aventador caught on test seems to feature the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) active aerodynamics system that adjusts airflow around and through the car to control drag and downforce levels, making it a more track focused car than the current top of the range Aventador S. With a front section featuring a more dynamic interpretation of the tiered bumper and splitter combo, side air intakes look larger, side skirts look wider and air intakes including aero slits also look to have been revised. All this suggests the Performante version will gain more power, we can expect the Lamborghini V12 to produce somewhere near 800bhp.
But it’s maybe round the back of this disguised Aventador that is most interesting, a rather large rear wing whose design hasn’t been seen on any previous models. With a diffuser sitting in the bottom section of the rear, this Lamborghini seem’s to have an exhaust setup similar to the Huracan Performante, with it’s rear wheel steering and four wheel drive, this is looking like one serious Raging Bull, which we can expect to be unveiled later this year.
