New Fiat Tipo SW Cross Spied On Test

New Fiat Tipo spotted in the Alps

Earlier this year we caught our first glimpse at the new Tipo. Expected to launch later this year, now we get a look at another version, that has been spotted, the Fiat Tipo SW Cross.

Looking like a no nonsense model with a more rugged exterior, by using padding to extend the arches and beef up the front and rear bumpers. Added with a higher ride height and a new front grill, it should look the part at any off road event, but still not look out of place in towns.

Under the bonnet is an expected 4 cylinder 1.3 litre turbocharged engine, with the diesel option carrying over the 1.6 litre multi-jet from the current Tipo range. A hybrid version has also been talked about but nothing is confirmed yet.

New daylight running lights both front and rear have been added, with the interior mostly staying the same apart from some trim updates. The new larger centre console is also expected to be added.
