The Ferrari 812 Superfast is not exactly shy on the power front, with 789 hp on tap it certainly is the kind of V12 supercar you would expect from Maranello. However German tuning house Novitec have decided it isn’t quite enough, so step forward the Ferrari 812 N-Largo.
Going large is pretty much what you can expect, increasing power from that V12 to 840hp with the addition of a high-performance exhaust and bespoke engine mapping, the 812 now hits 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds and goes all the way to a new 215mph top speed, yes ‘lar-go’ is the name of the game. As the Ferrari now gets wider with a total of 14 cm added to the already-not too slim supercar’s width.
The carbon fibre bodykit gives the Ferrari more sculpted front and rear bumpers, flared wheel arches and wings house the forged 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels, naked carbon sills, four vertical bargeboards, a carbon fibre wing working in tandem with a “discreet roof spoiler lip” and a new bonnet design with a big diffuser complete the look.
Novitec say these modifications have been aerodynamically tested and give the Ferrari more downforce and better high speed stability. ‘Aerodynamically inspired by the current Formula 1 racecars’, all coming together to produce those seriously impressive performance figures.
Among the upgrades are a new suspension system, lowering the ride height by 35mm, adds its own hydraulic lift system, which can raise the car by 40mm again should the need arise. As for options well to start with you have a choice of stainless steel or Inconel active exhaust systems.
On the inside you can opt for a custom quilted interior or maybe you would prefer to replace all carbon fibre trim with coloured pieces. Novitec can trim the cabin of your N-Largo to your exact specification. However you might like to customize your 812 N-Largo you need to decide quick as the conversions are limited to just 18 cars, of which we believe most are already allocated. Oh and the price? Well like the 812 itself, if you have to ask…
