The breathtaking Pagani Huayra was introduced to the automotive universe by Italian exotic auto manufacturer Pagani back in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. The absolutely beautiful Pagani Huayra succeeded Pagani’s previous offering, the now legendary Pagani Zonda. Production of the Pagani Huayra began seven years ago back in 2012 and with a limited production run of only one-hundred examples, the Pagani Huayra has become a highly desirable and pretty rare vehicle today.
In July, 2018 Pagani delivered the 100th and final Huayra Coupe to it’s new owner, six years after Huayra production officially began. Known as the Pagani Huayra L’Ultimo, this rather special Huayra featured an exterior paint finish that was inspired by the livery used on Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes AMG Formula One car. With the delivery of the Pagani Huayra L’Ultimo completed, production of the Pagani Huayra Coupe was officially over and as a result, Pagani have been focusing all of their time and attention on the production of the incredible Pagani Huayra Roadster.
The Pagani Huayra Roadster was officially unveiled by Pagani at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show after two years of non-stop development and just a few months later, production of the Huayra Roadster officially began. Just like it’s Coupe sibling, the Pagani Huayra Roadster will be built in limited numbers, just one-hundred examples will be built to be exact. Although it is unclear how many Pagani Huayra Roadster’s have been built/sold so far, it is believed that the waiting list for a new Huayra Roadster extends well into the next decade, which doesn’t surprise us at all.
Now, we are pretty sure that some Pagani clients would be more than happy to wait that long for their dream car but we are also positive that not everyone has that type of patience. Luckily for those that don’t like to wait, the Pagani Huayra Roadster featured in this article has been listed for sale by US based exotic car dealership CNC Motors. This particular Pagani Huayra Roadster is a 2017 model and it is the closest you can get to a brand new example. Although the spec on this particular Pagani Huayra Roadster is not the most attention grabbing, it still looks absolutely amazing and as a result we don’t think this Pagani Huayra Roadster will stick around for very long.
To start things off, this Pagani Huayra Roadster features a rather understated gloss carbon fiber exterior finish which has been contrasted perfectly by a few bright red exterior pieces, silver multi-spoke centerlock alloy wheels and bright red painted brake calipers. It may not sound all that impressive but it is enough to give this Huayra Roadster the elegant yet aggressive look one would expect from a seriously expensive, hand crafted supercar. Inside, this beautiful Pagani Huayra Roadster features a hand crafted bright red leather interior which is contrasted by a long list of gloss carbon fiber and aluminum interior trim pieces.
Just like its Coupe sibling, the Pagani Huayra Roadster is powered by a 6.0 liter, twin-turbocharged AMG V12 engine which has an overall power output of 764 hp (570 kW) and 1,000 Nm of torque. Paired to the massive 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged, AMG V12 engine is a seven-speed automated manual transmission which has been borrowed from the hardcore, track focused Pagani Huayra BC. As a result, all available power is sent directly to the rear wheels, this set-up allows the Pagani Huayra Roadster to sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds.
Although the 6.0 liter twin-turbocharged AMG V12 engine found in the Huayra Roadster is essentially the same unit as that found in the Huayra Coupe, it has been tuned by Pagani to deliver even more power, an extra 34 hp to be exact thus making it the most powerful version of the Pagani Huayra to date. As a result of the Huayra Roadster’s incredible power output and the fact that the Huayra Roadster is lighter than it’s Coupe sibling (1,280 kg), the Pagani Huayra Roadster can reach a jet like manufacturers claimed top speed of 370 km/h (230 mph) which makes the beautiful Huayra Roadster one of the fastest road cars on sale today thus placing it directly into hypercar territory.
If you want to park this gorgeous 2017 Pagani Huayra Roadster in your garage it won’t be cheap. In fact, CNC Motors is asking an incredible $3.65 million for this Huayra Roadster, which is something of a bargain considering that this Huyara Roadster has had one owner since new and it has only covered 128 kilometers (80 miles) in its lifetime. When ordered new from the Pagani factory this Huayra Roadster would have had an asking price of around $2.41 million, however in just 2 short years this stunning Huayra Roadster’s value has increased by $1.25 million. As any real petrolhead will know, vehicles like the Huayra Roadster only increase in value, therefore it is not only a great collectors piece, but a great investment too.
