Abarth wins, for the first time, the absolute victory in the “Design” category and triumph’s in the “Design” classification for the “Mini cars” class.
It was a case of history repeating itself as just like 2018, Abarth is one of the winners of the “Best Brands” competition of the famous German car magazine Auto Bild . But the real novelty is the absolute victory of Abarth in the “Design” category, concerning all classes of cars. To this primacy Abarth added two confirmations in the “Design” category: in fact, once again, readers voted Abarth 595 and Abarth 695 as number one among the “Mini cars”, as well as the Abarth 124 spider was able to repeat the victory of the last year in the “Cabrio up to 50,000 euros” class. In short, the triple victory is the best demonstration of that inimitable personality that on the roads of every day makes us immediately distinguish a Scorpion car from all the others we meet.

These prestigious awards make the 70th anniversary of the brand even more special: on 31 March 1949, in fact, the legend of the Scorpion was born, which still continues to fascinate us and that we wanted to celebrate with the new “70th Anniversary” range, declined on the 595 models and 124, and with the recent 595 essesse and 124 Rally Tributes that debuted in Geneva ».
Now in its eighth edition, Auto Bild’s “The Best Brands 2019” competition involved readers of the print magazine and online editions who expressed the reasons behind their purchasing choices in the automotive, accessories, spare parts and services sectors. Among the cars, 38 major brands were evaluated in 14 model classes, from the smallest car through the convertibles to the SUVs, according to some evaluation criteria in terms of design, quality, value for money, image and service.
