Innovative customisations by Mopar will see New Mopar branded merchandise previewed in Geneva
Mopar is returning to the 2019 Geneva Motor Show with a selection of products and customisations for cars across the FCA range. Purchased with a new car, or later from the authorised sales network, these products all perfectly match the technical and style features of the various models, allowing full customisation.
The brand boasts over 80 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the needs of customers, accompanying them throughout their motoring experience by providing technical services and support for all their performance, safety or customisation-related needs.
The Tipo Sport will be on display on the Fiat stand. Developed in partnership with Mopar, it features exclusive design elements which enhance the dynamic style of the vehicle. Two display cases will also house a selection of Fiat Authentic Accessories: the Carbon Pack for Tipo Sport and the Dark Pack for 500X.
The first pack features a number of carbon details, such as the full front and rear bumper kits, side skirts, wing mirror covers and door handles. The Tipo Sport version is equipped with the same accessories in “Piano Black”. Stunning 18-inch wheels are also available as an option. The second is one of the aesthetic packs for 500X, created by Mopar to emphasis the characteristic elegance, design and sporty style of this Italian crossover by Fiat. It gives the 500X a sporty look with the aid of the special Monster Matte black colour adorning the mirrors, moustache, door handles, boot handle and the rear tail lamp masks. The Pack also includes the high-performance Prime Parts pollen filter designed to protect the cabin, while Mopar Connect and the 18-inch Jet Black wheels are available on request.
One of the most notable Authentic Accessories powered by Mopar for Abarth 124 Spider is the carbon fibre hard top: technical, lightweight and safe, it gives the vehicle the feel of a coupé, with all the driving thrills that only a real roadster can offer. The performance of the vehicle in terms of road holding are also boosted by the specific strut bar, while the mesh luggage rack organiser with Mopar logo enables load optimisation, ensuring maximum freedom on the road.
The experts from Mopar have created Alfa Romeo Authentic Accessories that follow the same principles of the brand, highlighting the sporting, unique identity of Giulietta, Giulia and Stelvio. Materials such as carbon on the wing mirrors, radiator grille, gear knob, door sills, the textured shades of Miron, the dedicated alloy wheels, the branded Alfa Romeo puddle lights, as well as the dark tail lights are available on Stelvio. These are only some of the characterising elements to be found on the stand in Geneva, both on the vehicles and on display in the elegant display cases.
There’s more than just aesthetics and performance though. Mopar is working hard in relation to user-friendly connectivity, comfort and safety. In fact, Giulia and Stelvio are fitted with Alfa Connected Services. Giulietta offers the Tech Pack featuring the innovative Alfa Connect 7-inch by Alpine infotainment system, which is Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM ready, rearview camera and parking sensors, USB-HDMI input and Mopar® Connect.

Mopar and Amazon Marketplace
Since December 2018, an initial selection of approximately 1,300 spare parts and accessories have been available on Amazon Marketplace. This has made Mopar the first brand in the automotive sector in Italy to sell its products through this platform. The launch of a real Mopar Store is planned, and it is actually due to début in Italy and the UK during the Motor Show in a version dedicated to trade operators and then open the doors to all customers by summer. A natural evolution for a brand that has always focused closely on innovation and anticipated the market trends to meet customer’s requirements. Over the past 80 years, Mopar has become synonymous with full service and authentic performance for vehicle owners and enthusiasts worldwide.
With Mopar® Connect, vehicle control is within easy reach
Mopar Connect – presented as Alfa Connect for the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio models – is the innovative set of connected services; it is integrated with Uconnect LIVE (known as Alfa Connect for Alfa Romeo), adding new functions, such as roadside assistance, also in case of accident, or vehicle localisation in case of theft. The app can also be used to control a number of functions remotely, sending an alert if the car exceeds a certain speed limit or leaves a zone previously outlined on a map. Finally, Mopar Connect makes it possible to view the location of the parked car and information about its condition, such as the battery charge, tyre pressures and fuel level, in addition to reporting routine maintenance operations. With the services of Mopar® Connect, the customer has immediate access to the vehicle data and can rely on more safety and protection on the road, as well as peace of mind all within reach of a smartphone. A set of services with tailor-made solutions for various customer types, from retail to business users, including business owners, freelance professionals and companies with vehicle fleets. For the latter, Mopar offers the complete Fleet Management package for secure and effective monitoring and management.
Mopar reaches the milestone of 1,200,000 service contracts signed in EMEA
In Geneva, as testimony to the reliability and affordability of its warranty and maintenance extension services, Mopar is celebrating having reached its annual milestone of over 1.2 million customers who have chosen to protect their vehicles by signing a Mopar® Vehicle Protection service contract. To mark the occasion, every vehicle displayed on the stands will be accompanied by a service plan. Each plan offers different levels in terms of duration and mileage and is designed to guarantee that the vehicle works as effectively as possible over time, involving a series of services by highly qualified, expert Mopar technicians at the authorised FCA workshops, using specific equipment and tools and only original spare parts.
Some examples are MAXIMUM CARE, the extended warranty that covers all mechanical and electrical components for a maximum of three years from the end of the legal warranty; and EASY CARE, the pre-paid scheduled service that freezes the price of car servicing for up to five years, ensuring customers never miss their yearly maintenance.
The Mopar® Vehicle Protection services can be signed directly when a new vehicle is purchased. They can be included in the FCA Bank financial offer (where applicable) or requested in any FCA workshop.
