The Abarth 124 rally Wins the Spanish Tarmac Rally Championship in the Two-Wheel-Drive Category Ahead of Time
It is a season to remember for the Abarth 124 rally that after dominating the FIA Cup R-GT World Championship with four wins in five races has mathematically secured the Two-Wheel Drive trophy of the Spanish Asphalt Rally Championship with Alberto Monarri and Rodrigo Sanjuán of Team SMC Junior Motorsport.
The Spanish crew will be taking part in the Rally la Nucia, which will be second to last round of the Spanish championship scheduled next Friday and Saturday on November 9 and 10, as the champions to score other wins. They have set their eyes on another resounding placement in the overall ranking, like they did in the Rally de Ourense, (fourth place overall), in the Sierra Morena Rallly (fifth overall) and in the Villa de Adeje (sixth overall).
The Rally la Nucia will be starting in Alicante on Friday, November 9 at 7 p.m. and will end on Sunday, November 10 at 9 p.m., after a total of 571 kilometres, with 11 special stages and 175 kilometres timed.
