
Maserati has today announced the brands new 5 year plan and it is going blue.
Brand MaseratiBlue will have all-new battery-electric vehicles, starting the Italian carmakers electric drive will be the long awaited Alfieri. The successor to the GrandTurismo/Cabrio will be the first luxury EV coupe that shares Maserati’s aspirational DNA. With an All-new aluminum spaceframe; hardtop and cabrio variants will be available, with the new GT featuring a hybrid and plug-in hybrid with e-AWD.
All-new versions of the Maserati Quattroporte and Levante will also use new modular platform. Include Level 2 autonomy. Level 3 autonomy available by late 2021/early 2022, Q4 AWD systems, three powertrains including hybrid and plug-in hybrid. All will feature 3 motors with AWD, torque vectoring, 800v batteries with less weight, quicker charge times.
Maserati
future powertrains will be supplied by Ferrari, across every configuration — hybrid, plug-in hybrid and MaseratiBlue (full battery electric). With all its models being electrified by 2022. Maserati also targets deliverying 100,000 units by 2022.
