The Lamborghini Gallardo may have been retired, replaced by the Huraca,n but for Zagato the V10 Supercar still has a lot to offer in the form of the L5-95, the roadster was launched in 2014, based on the Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera.
The stunning car made it’s debut at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Now with this year’s Concorso at Lake Como only a month away, it seem’s Zagato is about to unveil a Spyder version.
Legendary Italian coachbuilder Zagato has just released an image of a convertible version of its 5-95, the hard-top version had a carbon-fibre body designed by Stéphane Schwarz, we only have a profile photo to go on for now, but the upcoming model could adopt the same styling as the hardtop.
Although the original coupe version was produced in 2014 for the car collector Albert Spiessas as a one off, the car proved that popular that those with deep enough pocket’s where also able to acquire one, although quite how many Zagato made is unknown.
With the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este taking place between May 24 and May 26, although not confirmed, we hope to see this very special Lamborghini make it’s appearance…
