1966 Ferrari 275 GTB by Scaglietti going under the hammer

Without doubt one of the most stunning designs ever penned by Pininfarina and crafted by Scaglietti, the 275 GTB is truly an icon in styling and design. Should you have a large enough bank balance, what better way to start the Spring of 2018 than to head to Amelia Island in Florida on 10th March and grab yourself this beautiful classic Ferrari.

The 275 GTB debuted alongside the drop top 275 GTS at the 1964 Paris Motor Show to great acclaim, showing the motoring world that after the glorious 250, Ferrari still had a bright future.

Chassis No 08603 has had homes in Oklahoma and Houston Texas, including being painted Yellow before being restored to it’s Red over Black combination and finding a new owner in Japan. This particular classic 275 spend 20 years in Japan before returning to the USA with it’s current owner, where it has had a recent service by a marque specialist, the car is wonderful throughout and clearly been well kept since it’s restoration, The interior is presented very well with all the correct trim and fittings , including an original steering wheel and proper markings on the windshield and side glass with door and window seals in excellant condition.

Equally menacing and sensual in form, it is just as exciting to drive as it is to look at, and this fine example does not disappoint in either regard. Quite what this classic 275 GTB will go for remains to be seen…
