Mad Fiat 126 with 13000rpm!

We are used to seeing small Fiat’s being tuned to within an inch of their lives, usually it’s a Fiat 500 or the go faster Abarth versions, however offering up somewhere in the region of 13000rpm is this mad hillclimbing Fiat 126.

The work of Romanian tuning shop Cyclon Motorsport, this Fiat 126 has swapped it’s factory fitted 24bhp 2cyclinder 704cc engine for one from a motorbike, the bike in question is the 1300cc Suzuki Hayabusa, now we are talking…

Driven by Robert Barabas at a local Romanian hillclimb event, the modified Fiat 126 now has a custom tube chassis with that wide body and makes 187 bhp, revving all the way up to 1300rpm and weighing at less than 1500pounds, it will need all of that wide body and rear wing to keep it stable as it rips up the road…
