A Ferrari going to auction is hardly breaking news, however when that particular Italian classic is one of only 99 made, with it’s V12 engine and bodywork by Pininfarina, then it’s worth taking a closer look.
The particular Ferrari in question is a 1967 330GTS, an update of the popular 275 GTS, incorporating a frontal treatment inspired by the 500 Superfast. Designed and built by Pininfarina, the Ferrari 330GTS was the epitome of mid 1060’s GT’s.
This 1967 330GTS , chassis 10703, is an absolutely stunning example of the iconic model., One of only 99 ever produced, 10703 has been fastidiously restored with it’s Pinifarina body painted in Black over a gorgeous green leather interior.
Dutifully maintained over the last 50 years and sparingly driven, with less than 25000 miles since new. This classic Ferrari comes with a tool roll, owner’s handbook, and a Marcel Massini history report, this spectacular V12 Ferrari is one of the finest open sports cars of it’s era and a world class collectible.
Naturally in order to acquire such a car to add to your collection, it won’t come cheap, this Ferrari 330GTS is expected to fetch over £1M when it goes to auction with Gooding & Company in the U.S soon…
