Lamborghin Urus goes playing in the sand

We are used to seeing Test car’s caught lapping the likes of the Nurburgring, the forthcoming Lamborghini Urus has previously been caught there, as well as in the unlikely setting of Nottingham here in the UK, however the latest is maybe the most impressive.

The 600+bhp SUV, spiritual successor to the ‘Rambo Lambo’ from the 80’s, is this time playing in the sand. Lamborghini have released a short video showing how the Italian supercar maker’s next 4×4 is more than capable tackling the sandy terrain, the 30 second footage shows how the car’s ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligence Management) allows the driver to select different modes to match the conditions. The different settings; Strada (Street), Corsa (Track), Terra (Land), Neve (Snow) and of course Sport should ensure the Urus is more than capable wherever you choose to take it.

The new SUV will also have an all-new Lamborghini 4.0 litre twin turbocharged V8, expected to produce around 600bhp, making it the fastest SUV on the market, of course such a car won’t be cheap, expect little charge from £180k when it goes on sale at the end of the year. A plug-in hybrid version is also expected before the end of the decade.

No doubt this latest teaser is a nod to the sales in the Middle East that the Lamborghini Urus can hope for, certainly it seem’s to be having plenty fun on the sand, we can’t wait to take it to Blackpool!
