Novitec’s 709bhp Ferrari GTC4Lusso

Now we understand the problem, you buy a Ferrari, in this case a 600bhp 3.9 litre V8 Twin-Turbo 4 seater, just your everyday family car and after a few days, maybe a week you find yourself thinking ‘it’s just not quick enough…’ we really do understand, only having 199mph top speed, hitting 0-60 in around 3.5 seconds, that’s some slouch. So what do you do? Where do you go?…

Step forward Novitec, we have seen some of Novitec’s tuning products before, Maserati’s and Ferrari’s amongst them, some good, some…not so good. So what have they done with the V8 GTC4 Lusso, after all if you want more power, don’t you just buy the V12 model? Well maybe or maybe not, after all there is always the originality aspect. So the tuning company has done a little bit of tweaking here and there, in return we now get 709bhp, increasing that top end to 202mph whilst shaving 0.3 seconds off that 0-60 time, down to 3.2 seconds.

Naturally the changes don’t stop at the engine, the Ferrari gets improved aerodynamics, courtesy of two spoilers and central blade attached to the front bumper, roof and rear spoilers, rocker panels, and carbon covers for the side mirrors. Novitec have also fitted a brand new high-performance exhaust system which can be calibrated according to which of the three available tuning packages you choose. Novitec’s NF7 alloys also add to the finish, a 5-double-spoke design with the same carbon finish we see on the body.

We aren’t completely sold on it but if your new GTC4 Lusso just isn’t enough and you have money burning a hole then maybe, just maybe…
