Italian Supercar maker Lamborghini has announced it’s first Super
Sports Utility Vehicle (SSUV) is to be unveiled on 4 December 2017 in its home of
Sant’ Agata Bolognese. This will be followed by its public showcase at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year. The Urus will also be manufactured at the company’s Santa’Agata facility, with the Italian car maker starting deliveries of the Urus SUV in 2018.
According to Lamborghini, the new Urus redefines possibilities, creating a class of its own:
unprecedented SUV performance, luxury and versatility, with the distinctive dynamic design DNA of a Lamborghini super sports car.
The Italian manufacturer has already mentioned that the Urus will produce a power output in the range of 600PS. It has now been confirmed that the Lamborghini Urus will be powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8. This is the first time in the company’s history that a turbo would be used instead of a naturally aspirated motor, expect the Urus to be the fastest SUV…sorry SSUV available…
The Super Sports Utility Vehicle is no longer impossible.
