Way back in the depths of time, roughly Spring 2015, the Italians at Lamborghini decided they wanted to create a rather special raging bull to celebrate founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday, so was born the Centenario.
With it’s 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine it is the Supercar maker’s most powerful model to date, delivering a 0-62mph time of just 2.8 seconds, and top speed stands at more than 217mph. As well as the power, Lamborghini built just 40 of these rather Centenario’s, 20 Coupe versions of the car and 20 Roadster version, making them even more exclusive.
Recently Lamborghini brought their Centenario out to the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2017, giving the crowd a chance to see and truly hear what they have created. It’s an awesome sight, any Lamborghini is a piece of creative and engineering art however the Centenario is just that bit more special.
Goodwood Road & Racing has uploaded a video of the Centenario’s appearance at their recent event. Also included in the video is an interview with Federico Foschini of Lamborghini Sales & Marketing team.
Sit back and enjoy as this raging bull roars at Goodwood…
