He’s the frontman of jazz/synth pop band jamiroquai and a car nut, as famous for his collection of cars as his tunes from his Black Ferrari Enzo to his recent Kermit Green LaFerrari, the singers garage is home to some rarities in the automobile world but it seems he’s now put one up for sale.
The 1994 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II, supplied New in Italy, is to be sold at SilverstoneAuctions, taking place on July 29-30.
Originally this particular Integrale was imported to the UK back in the 90’s, a few years later in 2009 the British singer songwriter bought it, to add to his fantastic car collection.
The car, as you’d expect from such an owner has been well looked after, including earlier this year when he had it sent to some Lancia specialists to have its engine rebuilt, after a misfire. Work include a block rebore, new forged pistons and bearings, polished crankshaft bearing journals, and cylinder head skimming, at a cost of about £8k.
With an estimated guide price of £30,000-£35,000, it’s a very special car for a collection. Tempted?…maybe just a little bit…
