Few carmakers have produced show stoppers quite like Lamborghini, from astounding the world in the early 70’s with the Muira to the more recent Urus, the Italian motor company likes its concept cars. One such Supercar was the 2006 Lamborghini Concept S.
Based on the well-regarded Gallardo, the 2006 Lamborghini Concept S was meant to serve as the basis for a limited production run. But that never happened. Due to the high cost and time required to build one, this example — chassis 001 — was the only operable, street-legal version ever built.
With only 111 miles on the clock this stunning concept has twice appeared at the coveted Pebbles Beach Concours d’Elegance. It previously went up for sale in 2015 but failed to hit its reserve, now it’s coming up for sale again, this time at the RM Sothebys Monterey event on August 18.
Certainly it is one for the avid car collector, without doubt taking pride of place in any collectors garage not to mention at any prestigious car shows…
