Alfa Romeo Giulia is art

I’m sure I’m not the only one who doesn’t always understand art, what one person thinks is art is deemed by someone else a waste of space but I think I’m a pretty good judge when it comes to cars, or at least I thought I was until I saw this interpretation of art with an Alfa Romeo, a new Giulia, which is a pretty thing to start with. Still it’s for charity so it must be ok…

Over in the USA  artists Stephen Elliott Webb painted this Giulia during an event called “One Artist – One Car – One Night.” The party helped benefit The Fisher House Charleston – a charity that provides temporary accommodations to veterans and their families while the veteran is receiving medical attention at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.

The video below shows Webb paint the Alfa Romeo. The wild streaks of color reflect the artist’s style that’s reminiscent of abstract expressionism. The mix of red, yellow, blue, and black is incredibly eye catching.

As a plus this particular car is for sale, in aid of the charity, asking about £60k it seems a reasonable price for what is truly a unique Giulia, certainly a love it or hate it Car at your next Alfa Romeo meet!
