The Abarth 124 Rally, unveiled last year, is a purpose-built, rear-wheel drive rally car with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 300 horsepower 1.8-liter turbocharged engine. It was designed from the ground up to contest the FIA European Rally CHampionship’s R-GT cup, but it’s not clear if that’s where Hoonigan and Abarth are planning to race with their new female driver.
To apply, female drivers aged 18-years and up must upload a 60-second video to YouTube explaining why they should get the drive, link to the video in this application and fill out the other spaces. Once judging is complete, the lucky winner will be contacted about their new drive in the little but loud Abarth 124 Rally.
NHRA Top Fuel driver Leah Pritchett goes a little more in depth about the contest in the video above. We’d also suggest checking out the video embedded below to get familiar with the awesome rear-wheel drive 124 rally car.
