Newcastle company links up with Pagani

Selling for nearly £2m and with only 100 made – all of which have already been sold – the Pagani Huayra Roadster is probably the most sought-after supercar right now.

But now one North East company is giving car lovers the chance to see inside the vehicle as it is launched at the Geneva Motor Show.
Zerolight, which recently moved to offices on Newcastle’s Quayside, provides 3D visualisation technology which allows people to visualise vehicles with different interiors before having them custom-made.

The company works with motor giants including Audi, Toyota and Volkswagen, but its link up with Pagani is its most glamorous work yet.

ZeroLight’s online platform will give enthusiasts control of a Huayra Roadster in which users can then customise a car in a number of ways, including exterior and interior colour, trim and alloys.

Once created, personalised videos and stills of their dream Roadster, set in Pagani’s factory, will be available to share with friends and family across social media platforms.

Describing the car, Luca Venturi, head of communication at Pagani Automobili, said: “The Pagani Huayra Roadster is a combination of art and science, design and technology. We wanted to make sure the world could join us during the unveiling of what was a monumental undertaking in an interactive and engaging way.

“ZeroLight has created a platform that allows us to showcase our latest creation to our fans and clients worldwide on any device in stunning detail, allowing them to discover and configure our creation in their vision.”

ZeroLight, which is located on Newcastle’s Quayside, specialises in online visualisation for the car industry. The technology is able to offer high fidelity images without the need for browser plug-ins.

Darren Jobling, CEO at ZeroLight, said: “ZeroLight is all about world firsts. For those people not fortunate enough to be in Geneva for the launch of the stunning Pagani Huayra Roadster, we are bringing the car to you to explore at the exact same moment it is revealed to the world’s press.

“As well as exploring Mr Pagani’s unique ability to combine art and engineering, visitors to our site will also be able to configure their very own hypercar in real-time. The ZeroLight Pagani Huayra Roadster experience delivers personalisation in a truly original way that will become the standard for future automotive product launches.”
