Stunning Ferrari FXX at Amari Supercars

If your a regular follower of Enzari – and why wouldn’t you be! You’d know we posted recently about the Ferrari FXX which our friends at Amari Supercars have currently got for sale. Besides the price tag, the car itself is staggering.

The cars involved in Ferrari’s XX program are purpose-built for the track, but the cars can be converted for street use in certain countries in the customer desires. There’s just two known street legal XX cars, both of them being the Enzo-based FXX.

This FXX is actually a late model run Evoluzione example, which boasts a slightly more powerful 6.5-liter V12 over the standard FXX in addition to quicker gearshift changes and revised aerodynamics for reduced drag. It’s conversion from a track car to a street car was no simple process, with Ferrari having to adjust the ride height, apply softer suspension settings, install a front end lift system and add a horn, indicator lights, brake lights and a handbrake. It also took some convincing for Ferrari to even perform the conversion in the first place.

The car shows 1,300 miles on its odometer, which would be very low for nearly any other car but is surprisingly high for a 1 of 15, track-only Ferrari. Not surprisingly, the mileage has had little to no effect on the price, this particular Ferrari is POA and as Amari would say, if you have to ask the price you can’t afford the car. They have it listed as an investment, too, which means their research shows that price is bound to swell in coming years.

As you’d expect this road going racer isn’t short of power, with its 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine it feeds 850 bhp to the rear axle, through a 6-speed sequential transmission, and allows it to hit 60 mph from a standstill in just 2.5 secs, and a top speed of 247 mph.

For those with the means it really is an incredible opportunity to add a piece of modern racing heritage to your collection, no doubt alongside other cars from the prancing horse stable. Fantastico!

Tech stuff: 860 bhp, 6,262 cc rear-mounted longitudinal 65-degree V-12 engine with Bosch Motronic ME7 electronic fuel injection, six-speed electro-hydraulic semi-automatic transmission, front and rear independent pushrod suspension with unequal length wishbones, coil-over springs, and manually adjustable telescopic shock absorbers, and four-wheel Brembo carbon-ceramic disc brakes. Wheelbase: 104.3 in
